I graduated magna cum laude from Hofstra University with a B.A. in English. Some of my friends call me “Ranger Reo,” because after college I became the education supervisor of the City of Boston Park Rangers. I taught other rangers how to create and present programs, and I delivered hundreds of history and ecology programs for people of all ages, including a five-part series of educational videos for elementary school students.
Writer
In 1995 I became a marketing professional, and since then I’ve worked for non-profit and corporate organizations, including stints as director of marketing for two B2B software companies. I launched my freelance marketing business in 2012, which led me to work on various projects that leverage my skills in marketing automation, lead generation, media relations, branding and, of course, copywriting. Along the way, I’ve written hundreds of content pieces: blogs, case studies, e-books, web pages, emails, social media posts, data sheets, white papers, etc. My work has covered a broad range of subjects, including aquaculture, cybersecurity, documentary films, land conservation and watershed protection.
Public Speaking Consultant
For over 25 years, I’ve seen how executives and managers benefit by sharing their expertise from a virtual or in-person stage. Today my mission is to help leaders land great speaking opportunities, and coach them so they can deliver their best possible presentations. I’m certified as a Competent Toastmaster, and served as President of the Alcott Toastmasters in Concord, Massachusetts.
Singer
My lifelong love of singing blossomed in 2014, when I started getting gigs as a jazz vocalist in local venues. I love performing! For performance clips, see my YouTube channel.
